A favorite from Brussels! ♥ ON Sunday, February 10, 2013 AT 9:35 PM
Hello

I've come to the realization that the way I'm filling you up on this trip is really inconvenient and most likely extremely confusing for most of you, seeing as how you can't put the different things together the way I can. However, after thinking a bit more, I concluded that it's not really necessary for you to know exactly when and how everything happened, since the big picture is more important, right? ^^

Anyhow, enough of my blabbering. What I'm about to tell you happened on our last day in Brussels, on Tuesday. We made a quick stop at the comics museum before we were going shopping at Rue Nueve, but what I thought was going to be a boring, waste-of-time visit turned out to be one of the best things that happened on the entire trip!

This is my friend ^^ I find the random warrior behind her amusing, somehow. xD

Sorry for the quality, the comics pages were in a glass container.

This is as high as you could get ^^ The museum looked like a fancy hotel to me,
but it actually fit the comics and everything quite well, surprisingly.

I'm not a freak. (seriously.)
I want to make a comment here. Throughout the trip, I took every chance I could to get a picture of an Asian person, but it's not because I'm an obsessed fan. (Well, that's a part of it, though.) The actual
reason is actually because I think they all look extremely good on photo and so it's so easy to get good shots! Photography is kind of a hobby of mine, and I enjoy taking good pictures. So while my friends kept calling me freaky, stalker and whatnot, I was actually being artistic. Humph.

Jirou Taniguchi!
Some of his works were framed and put up on the wall, and one of my friends noticed this! ^^ She called me over and I took a look at it, and I was super happy to realize that I could actually read some of the bubbles, and understand the Japanese! Moments like those are what keeps me going ~

This, for example:
The 2 bubbels in the left corner, down, is what the girl is saying. She's shouting
"Otousan! Yamete!" which means "Dad, stop it/don't!"

Uhuhuh. A wild selca appeared >8D
No, but really. I've noticed I really don't post a lot of pictures of myself here.

But this is what made me like this museum so much!
In the souvenir shop, they had a number of different famous characters from comics. My friend found this
and pointed it out to me - It's Usopp!

Both Usopp and this guy down below are characters from one of my favorite animes - One Piece!
I can't remember the name of this guy though, sorry >__< He works for the "sekai seifu" which is the
World Government, but I don't remember more than that. (Sekai Seifu is one of the many useless words I've learned from anime, haha)

There were also some other anime characters!
I know this character, but I don't. I don't know which anime he's from, but I've seen him ^^;;

And of course I had to take a picture of the well-known, oh-so-famous Tin Tin!

I couldn't buy any of the above, because they were all around 100-300 euros and I don't have that kind of money. However, I did buy something else and that, above anything else, is what made me so happy about coming here! I was, originally, planning on showing you guys what I bought here, but after some thinking I decided they deserve their own update!
