Rearranging and cleaning my makeup shelves! ON Wednesday, February 13, 2013 AT 6:33 PM

Hello ~

About an hour ago, I grew bored and you know how no girl can ever keep her makeup shelves in order? xD Well, I decided to do something about that mess of mine and clean things up a bit :3 So yeah, let's see what I've got lying around in there! c:

(Oh, and by the way. I've totally gotten into this whole blogging thing again! 8D Hallelujah what a camera can do, now that I can take good pictures again, it's so much more fun! ^^)

This is what it looked like before (I had already cleaned it up a bit)

It doesn't look so messy, but with the way every lipstick/gloss is standing up, it's super inconvenient.

I also found a box filled with makeup I've recieved from friends/family.

And this is how everything looked like when I was done!

Doesn't it look better now? c: I think so. I switched places for a lot of things and it's better this way ~

Above is all my skin makeup ^^ I use most of them daily / weekly, depending on how bad my skin looks when I wake up. Basically, what I normally use, is my Day and Night, Riche Créme to moisturize my skin. Then I apply my Raidiant glow fluid foundation with precious pearls and after that, the 6 in 1 Sublime skin BB cream or the other 8 in 1 BB Cream. I tend to use the former, because it feels lighter.

Then I usually just apply some of my Maybelline Dream Matte mousse, light beige in color, or Illuminating Pearls powder from Yves Rocher on parts that are still red (usually my chin/nose).

Everything really depends on how my skin looks in the morning. Lately, I haven't been needing as much.

As for my eyes (picture above and below) I don't use that much. Or maybe I do, according to you, but I don't know. xD
Mostly, I just start off with a Couleurs nature 3 in 1 eye pencil on my upper waterline, maybe sometimes on my lower waterline as well but I haven't been doing that much lately. Then I might use just a normal white eye pencil in the crease of my eye/on my lower waterline to make my eyes look a bit bigger. After that I use a liquid eyeliner, currently I'm using Couleurs nature eyeliner and I've noticed it's glittery. oO I didn't know that before. Then I just put on some mascara (Yves Rocher Ultra Volume mascara) and that's pretty much it xD I have kind of dark eyebrows so I haven't been filling them in but I want to find a pencil for that now.

I usually don't use eyeshadow, but when I do it's mostly a white/light color.

I love the perfume in the middle, the Rose Asolue, Secrets D'Essences!

It's my absolute favorite perfume right now ^^ Although it's not really perfume, it's "eau de toilette" which is a lighter form of perfume, I guess? I don't know the english word for it.

This is where I keep my lashes! ^^

The box looks dirty but it's actually not, it's just really old. I got it from my uncle and his family for christmas, and it's antique ~

And I also cleaned up and emptied this makeup box! Earlier, it was just used as a container for some nail polishes, but I'm planning on using it for my makeup when I travel somewhere c:

Sorry if this was boring ^^ I've just always wanted to do an update like this and I never have, so the urge was too strong and I gave in *shrugs*. Anyhow, yeps. That's pretty much how I put on my makeup every morning xD I left out stuff like bending my eyelashes or plucking my eyebrows every now and then but who cares XD

YEPS. <-- loving it right now. It's like my thing, yo! 8D

Hello!

So to further describe my existance, I shall write what I assume will be an unnecessary profile.

So my name's Jennifer and I'm soon to be 18 and hella glad for that as well. I live in a village the size of your palm in the middle of nowhere and I take the bus to and from my school everyday for 20 minutes. I have decent grades, nothing to brag about except my average of 10 (full score) in English (lol my pride and glory) and I will try hard to raise them I promise. OTL I have a somewhat unhealthy love for languages as I tend to pick up a tad too many and at the moment I'm studying French, Japanese, Spanish, Finnish and English (while Swedish is my mothertongue). (English can't really count as studying though so scratch that.)

My ultimate life goal is to move to Japan and make a big enough success out of this waste of space of a life to actually get to stay there and if I'd get to choose, I'd never come back to Finland. I hate cold weather, I really dislike freezing but I do love wrapping myself up in warm clothing and blankets and sip on some hot chocolate while the chilly weather stays outside. I don't like sweating, but I like the summer. I don't really have any special feelings about autumn or spring.

I live with my mom and my brother and sister, both younger than me, and my dad lives a random life in Spain. (I don't really care to keep up, it's mostly gym business anyways.) He calls sometimes but I rarely see him and it's been that way for such a long time that it doesn't really affect me anymore.

I think I'm a person really easy to misinterpret, because it seems as if many people think I'm someone I'm not. I don't know why that is, but I guess I can be pretty foulmouthed sometimes. I really can't stand people who complain about the smallest of things and that pisses me off. Weak people also pisses me off, those who just looks as if they're begging to be beaten up. (Not that I'd hit anyone, I really wouldn't, but you know those people.) People who are full of themselves can also go die, especially if they're younger than me and act as if I couldn't just step on them like an ant. I guess I dislike lots of different types of people...

For things that I love, I can mention things like manga, fanfics (boy luv onley), kpop, jrock, visual kei, going to concerts, touching the artists inappropriately when I manage to reach them on stage, studying languages, reading about asian stuff, looking at Tokyo on Google Maps, research universities, look at apartments in Tokyo and calculate how much I would have to make to live there. Yes, I have a life like that. <3
